Groundwater Desalination

Goal: Increase production 8.5 times in the next 50 years.

From 19,000 acre-feet/yr (6 billion gallons/yr) in 2020 to 157,000 acre-feet/yr (51 billion gallons/yr) by 2070.


Seawater Desalination

Currently zero.

Goal: By 2030 — 179,000 acre-feet/yr or 58 billion gallons/yr. By 2070 — 192,000 acre-feet/yr or 63 billion gallons/yr.
